On behalf of the Doneraile Literary and Arts Society Committee I would like to express our immense gratitude to all of the 2012 festival sponsors, for without them it would have been very difficult, if not impossible to have held the festival at all. As is it turned out the festival was an absolute success. The committee would also like to extend a great thank you to all the volunteers who worked endlessly and tirelessly in ensuring that the festival programme went smoothly to schedule throughout the long weekend.                                                                               If you can take the time to browse through some of the pictures taken during the 2012 festival you will see pictures of some of our distinguished guests and entertainers. The venues, such as Creagh Castle and the Churches of both denominations in Doneraile were excellent stages for the exhibitions, readings and  concert music  as were the public houses  in the town which were full to capacity in the evenings with people listening to the sound of  poetry and song.  It was enjoyed by so many and will be remembered for many years to come.
